I was lvling my new elf (49), and turned on debug to see the damage i was getting. 10-18 dmg with the Apprentice Bow +0, then I switch to a +7 emminence bow which adds +1 dex and has better damage stats, and still was getting 10-18 dmg. Is this a bug or some kind of damage cap?


  • This is because a bow user's damage is based on the type of arrow used and DEX, not the base damage of the weapon. Since your character probably has fairly low Dex, adding 1 from the bow will not affect it much.
